Tutoring Experience
I have taught National 4, 5 and Higher English for the last 8 years. I have also supervised several Advanced Higher Dissertations.
I am also fluent in Italian and have supported pupils through their Italian National 5 qualification.
I am a qualified English as a foreign language teacher with a significant amount of experience.
Tutoring Approach
I focus on developing critical thinking. Helping pupils to understand exactly what the examiners are looking for. I believe in teaching about exam technique as well as helping to develop the young people's understanding of the content of the course. I aim to help the pupils to feel confident and proud of their knowledge and understanding.
