I am a Zoology graduate from the University of Bristol, where I received a 2:1 BSc. I have just finished a Master of Research in Biodiversity, Evolution & Conservation at University College London. During my education, I have studied a broad range of topics in biology. I love teaching and helping others to understand a tricky concept, whatever their abilities may be.
I have a sound knowledge of the different exam boards and specifications. During my A Level studies, I was responsible for mentoring incoming Year 6 pupils, helping them with a range of subjects.
As the daughter of a Biology teacher, I have experienced firsthand the importance of adapting teaching style to suit the student's needs. I begin by first getting to know which elements of the course content the student is struggling with, allowing me to support their individual learning needs. I then focus on helping them to understand, not just memorise, these concepts.
