My name is Luis and I am originally from Spain. I have a passion for languages, discovering new cultures and travelling. I have been living abroad since I finished university and I have been able to take advantage of the myriad of possibilities that teaching can offer you.

My tutoring is mainly focused on GCSE/A-Level and IB DP Spanish students

The main characteristics that define me as a teacher are that I am friendly, fun but also firm, and I adapt really well to the needs to my students in order to help them improve, gain confidence, and achieve their goals.

I currently only do online tutoring, not in person.

PRIVATE TUTORING EXPERIENCE
-I have been a tutor for languages and other subjects since the last years of Secondary School.
-During university, I started tutoring English and Spanish for foreginers
-Since I moved to the UK and did my PGCE, I have tutored students to help them and excel in their GCSEs and A-Levels/IB Diploma

Tutoring Approach

I do not have an approach to which I always stick to. I think each learner is a different and the teaching has to be adapted according to their needs. Nevertheless, I take oral communication highly into account in order to become a competent language user. Practice and motivation are basic for language improvement.
