I am currently a deputy director of science and have been teaching for over a decade now and love sharing my interest and knowledge with students across all the sciences and maths. I enjoy my free time by playing guitar and reading about history. Fishing and other outdoor activities I also enjoy on the weekends.
I currently teach Science to GCSE and A-level Physics as deputy director of science. I have previously taught all Sciences to GCSE level and Physics and Maths at A-level.
I am also an exam marker for GCSE science and A level physics which have given more a more in depth point of view from the marking side of exams that I can share with students to better aim for those missed marks that are often overlooked.
I believe a knowledge rich curriculum with regular testing with past exam questions and consolidation of a students knowledge through application of their knowledge which reinforces a positive revision style. Using a consistent teaching method with routine allows students to become effective revisors with a mixture of teacher and student lead activities to support learning with direct access to exam boards.
