I am a former student of St Olave's Grammar School in Orpington, having completed my GCSE's in 2020 (achieving 7 9's and 3 8's, as well as an A* in HPQ and Additional Maths), AS Level in 2021 (achieving an A in Chemistry) and A-Levels in 2022 (achieving 3A*s in Maths, Further Maths and Economics, as well as 2A's in Physics and EPQ). I will also be starting university this year, studying BSc Economics with a placement year at University College London (UCL).

Tutoring Experience

I have 2 years of tutoring experience, having tutored a few students in GCSE Mathematics and KS3 Mathematics. I have also been very effective in helping a few of my classmates in A-Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics by explaining complicated concepts in a simplistic way, helping them to understand any topic without any doubts.

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring approach is simple, friendly and extremely well-organised. I will make detailed notes on the topics that will be covered during lessons to make sure the student understands everything fully. To consolidate this knowledge, I will set homework after each lesson and will give feedback to let the student know what they need to work on. When the exam season approaches, I will set past papers under exam conditions as homework to make sure the student is comfortable with all the topics in their exam and to help the student adapt to the exam environment. Alongside this, I will make sure that the parents are aware of their child's progress.
