Lydia's Feedback

My step tutor tried one tutor and didn't get on with her but then we found Lydia and she is amazing. Sophia loves her and says her way of explaining things helps her to understand them and her to remember them. So far so good and hopefully help[s get her the results she wants. Even better that she is almost on our doorstep.

Lydia is patient and encouraging with a gentle and warm approach. My daughter was rather reticent about having maths tuition and has come away from the sessions in an upbeat mood and with her confidence boosted. I feel very pleased to have found her to help us!

Lydia is superb! My daughter has been seeing her for a year and has made rapid and significant progress in her Maths ability. She was in year 9 and we had moved from abroad, leaving her with gaps in her knowledge relative to the curriculum. Lydia was adept at discovering these and providing rapid catch up and consolidation. Emma's confidence has grown since coming to yourself for maths tuition. The lesson's are structured and the subject matter is stretching which is good. Lydia has helped Rachael improve her confidence massively and we can already see a slight difference towards her mathematics education.

Lydia was very professional when arranging to come and see Jessica my daughter. She was very clear in what she could offer and also regards terms. Jessica immediately hit it off with Lydia which is great as she has been through a bad spell recently and has been lacking confidence, but Lydia has really helped in this regard. Regular feedback and communication received, as well as pr-active suggestions to help Jessica.

Found Lydia to be very pleasant and accommodating, a great Tutor so far. Our son is finding the sessions really rewarding. The 1-2-1 approach is just what he needed we are sure this will boost his confidence as he starts his GCSE's next year.

My daughter has been working with Lydia for 4 weeks with 1 hour lessons per week. These extra lessons have been invaluable to her both in terms of building her confidence and knowledge of the subject. Lydia is working closes with my daughter in each session building up a profile of her ability and introducing more changeling subject matter while focused on the end result which is passing this exam. I am extremely happy with the standard of Lydia teaching and would recommend her to all levels of pupil and from what i have seen in a very small time scale will improve the expected pass level.
