Hi! I'm Lydia, a qualified A Level Psychology teacher with a passion for making learning engaging, accessible, and (dare I say) fun! Alongside teaching, I’ve coached gymnastics and cheerleading for over 10 years, so I know how to build confidence and motivation in young people. I’m currently tutoring to help save for my dream Disney trip — so every session brings you and me closer to our goals :)
I’ve spent the past year teaching A Level Psychology at a further education college, with previous experience as an academic coach helping sixth formers to develop academic skills such as revision techniques, organisation and time management. I’m confident working with students from a range of backgrounds and abilities, including those with SEN, due to having a previous job working as a support worker for people with disabilities. I have a bank of strong resources I’m happy to share and adapt to suit your needs.
My goal is to help students feel confident, capable, and exam-ready. I focus on breaking down tricky concepts in a creative and accessible way, whilst placing a strong emphasis on application. I want to make sure you can use your knowledge to succeed in assessments. I’m supportive, full of positive energy, and always work to build great rapport with the students I support. Whether you’re aiming for top grades or just need a boost, I’m here to help you get there!
