I have been teaching for 15 years. After gaining my degree in English from the University of Nottingham, I completed a PGCE in Secondary English. I have been an examiner in a range of different subjects and levels.
Tutoring Experience
I have taught English for 15 years in a range of different settings, ages and groups - from Year 7 to Year 13, from GCSE to A level, in state and private schools.
Tutoring Approach
I find it quite satisfying working out what a student enjoys, so I can tailor content to your needs - quite often, as soon as I teach something that is about a subject you enjoy, thats when real learning and progress can start to begin.
So for me, its about making the subject enjoyable because that immediately makes it accessible, and thats when students really begin to learn.
