I am a well spoken and personable young man from Leeds and have just graduated from studying Physics at Newcastle University. I am keen to share the joy that comes with understanding and appreciating the beauty of Maths and Physics and I hope that I can help students be successful in their exams and enjoy the subjects simultaneously.

Tutoring Experience

I have no official teaching experience but I have helped friends and family study for exams to this level before and found I have a strong knack for it. My social group at university also found it very helpful to teach each other topics we found difficult and so I have experience communicating what can at first seem like complex ideas in a logical way by making comparisons and looking at problems from different perspectives.

Tutoring Approach

My philosophy for passing exams is that understanding is key, equations and practice problems are essential but I believe too much focus is placed on memorising abstract concepts. If a student understands a topic well everything else comes naturally and it is easier for them to link ideas in order to answer problems which they may not have practiced.
