I am a creative teacher with 9 years teaching experience across Reception to Year 6. I have taught in schools across London and I enjoy finding fun ways to approach topics and ensure children are thoroughly engaged in their learning. I am currently Assistant Headteacher of a school in Tower Hamlets with a responsibility for Teaching & Learning.
I have a wealth of experience tutoring children in a variety of subjects and in both 11+ and entrance exams.

I have years of experience teaching pupils across the Primary age range in a variety of inner-city schools.
I have also successfully tutored children for the 11+ and a variety of other entrance exams (both state and private). I have taught many children to read and have experience using phonics, colourful semantics and other comprehensive reading schemes. I have supported children who were working below their year group to make excellent progress and catch-up with their peers.

Creativity is at the heart of my teaching philosophy. I fundamentally believe that children learn best when they are engaged and ultimately, enjoying themselves. In my lessons, I aim to build an engaging, positive and creative atmosphere in which children can succeed. I believe that teaching is about the individual and discovering how each child learns and what helps them.
I have experience motivating pupils of all ages and breaking down challenging concepts to enable them to feel successful, gain motivation and achieve fantastic results.
