I am a well motivated and enthusiastic person with 20 years teaching experience. I am considered to be friendly and approachable. I aim to help students reach their full potential and also offer advise and guidance to help support them.

Tutoring Experience

I have over 20 years teaching experience in both private and state schools. I have been Head of Science in a small private school in Kent. I have also been involved in mentoring students in preparation for their GCSE's and A levels. I have had experience in marking and moderating examination papers for GCSE and A level. I have been a private tutor for 10 years and really enjoy the challenge of helping each individual student. One of my achievements last year was one of my students gained a place at a private school.

Tutoring Approach

I believe in establishing a good rapport with my student, and treating them as individuals. I discuss with them their aims and needs and then tailor the lesson accordingly. I provide the student with a copy of their relevant syllabus, to help discuss areas to be covered. I also provide additional worksheets and or past examination papers when required at no extra cost.
