I am a passionate and experienced physics tutor with a strong foundation in both academic and professional teaching. I hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, which has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the principles of physics and mathematics. Over the past three years, I have successfully tutored GCSE students in Maths and Science, as well as A-level students in Physics and Maths, helping them achieve their academic goals. I am now a qualified Physics teacher, currently working at an outstanding school in Enfield, where I continue to inspire students with engaging and effective lessons.

Tutoring Experience

I hold a first-class degree in Mechanical Engineering, which has provided me with a strong foundation in physics and mathematics. With over three years of tutoring experience at a tuition centre, I have successfully taught GCSE science and A-level Physics and Maths, helping students achieve their academic potential. Following this, I pursued a PGCE in Secondary Science and obtained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), further honing my teaching skills and expertise. Currently, I am a Physics teacher in a secondary school and sixth form, an outstanding institution where I teach students across KS3, KS4, and A-level. My experience spans a diverse range of learners, and I am dedicated to delivering high-quality education that inspires curiosity and academic excellence.

My teaching approach is student-centred, focusing on fostering curiosity, building confidence, and tailoring lessons to suit individual learning styles. I believe that true understanding comes through engagement, so I employ a variety of methods, including hands-on experiments, visual aids, and real-world examples, to make abstract concepts both relatable and engaging.

I encourage active participation and critical thinking by posing thought-provoking questions and guiding students to discover solutions independently. For more challenging topics, I break down complex ideas into manageable steps, ensuring that students fully grasp each concept before moving on.

I also place a strong emphasis on exam technique, equipping students with strategies to tackle problems effectively and perform confidently under pressure. By maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment, I aim to inspire confidence and cultivate a genuine interest in physics and related sciences. My ultimate goal is to empower students to think analytically, connect theory to practical applications, and develop a lifelong appreciation for the subject.
