Hi there! My name is Mahnoor and I'm currently studying Medicine Undergraduate in London. I have achieved 3A*'s in my A-levels and 7A*'s and 2As in my GCSEs.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring students for the past two years in A-level Sciences and Maths.

I have had the opportunity to work as a private tutor as well as at a study centre where I taught groups of six pupils at a time. My tutoring experience also includes online tutoring which I am doing at the moment. My work experience includes not only extensive tutoring experience but also working in Higher Education as a Mentor for students from disadvantaged backgrounds and working as a Admissions Interviewer for Medicine. Furthermore, I have had the privilege to work with students with special educational needs as well.

Tutoring Approach

My lessons will have the following structure:
5 minute recap from last lesson to go over any gaps in knowledge
Starting a new topic
Spending the last 15 minutes working through practice questions to consolidate learning
Whilst student has their own learning style, there's one thing that's indispensable and that is practising past papers. Utilising the mark schemes and tailoring your knowledge according to the question asked is a technique that needs to be carefully honed. It is this technique that helped me achieve straight A*'s in my A-levels and GCSEs.
