I am a 4th-year medical student at the University of Liverpool and want to get involved with some tutoring. I am from Birmingham and would be able to tutor for GCSEs and IB online. Teaching is essential to my career path, and I am excited to get started!
I have previously been a tutor starting at school where I was a mentor for 2 pupils at the GCSE level and went on to be head of the mentoring society in my final year at school. I then carried on tutoring at university where I was part of a few medical teaching societies (MedEd, LACES, PALMed). I have tutored 1st and 2nd-year medics and continue to do so currently.
My approach to teaching is interactive and always involves me asking lots of questions and making sure who I am teaching is engaged at all times and provoked to think. I like to use images and visual aids to explain complex problems or topics.
