More than 10-year experience as a private tutor and a secondary school class teacher, in-depth subject knowledge, and a genuine commitment to my students’ progress and achievements are all part and parcel of my teaching.
From 2011 onwards I supported students towards their SAT Subject Tests in Latin and in Italian
language, Common Entrance Examination in Latin and ancient Greek, the GCSE examination in Latin,
ancient Greek and Italian Language (OCR, Eduqas. AQA), and the A-Level examination in Classical
Civilisation, Latin and ancient Greek language and literature.
-Since 2016 I have worked as a secondary school class teacher in Latin, ancient Greek and Italian language. I am responsible for the learning and progress of students from KS3 to A-Level.
Successes
However small or big they may be, my students' day-to-day achievements are what makes my profession most rewarding to me. I am incredibly proud that for four consecutive academic years four A level students of mine were admitted to interviews for places in Classics at the university of Oxford, of which three were offered a place.
I endeavour to create engaging and accessible lessons without compromising on thoroughness, which is the most secure path to success.
