Online Spanish Tutoring

I am a visual artist and language tutor with a love for working with enthusiastic people who have a thirst for knowledge. I have been a Spanish language tutor for over 8 years, and I love seeing the progress that students gain, as they grow more confident in their use of the language. In terms of artistry, I'm an illustrator and I have done commissions for charities in the UK and for publications.

Tutoring Experience

As just mentioned, I have been a Spanish tutor for over 8 years in the UK, both to children, teenagers and adults. I have personally been very fortunate to be able to learn different languages - until now I've learnt English, Catalan, and I'm getting better at my French!- which is why I have a very good understanding about some techniques and materials that help with the learning process and keep students engaged in this.
Regarding arts, I have been delivering creative workshops with young people and with adults for the last three years, on projects run in universities and by charities. I also have my own portfolio of personal and commissioned work.

Tutoring Approach

I think we are all capable of learning at any age, all we need is the will to do it, so when tutoring I always try to reaffirm the strengths of the student as they focus on new learnings. I adapt the lessons, materials and the topics according to the age and the level of the student (I have tutored children and adults alike). And I believe there's so many more ways of learning a skill and a language, beyond theory - so get ready for practicing your skills and get ready to speak up if you decide to learn Spanish, or get your hands dirty (only with paint or glue hopefully) if you decide to learn illustration and visual arts!
