TESOL certified ESL Teacher and Assessment Specialist with over a decade of experience working online and face-to-face across South Asia and Central America. I have extensive English language acquisition skills which have been incremental in improving language competency.
Whether it is needed for the application of a certain type of Immigration status, obtain a higher level of professional achievement or as a requirement to study a particular course, the development of essential English language skills, study techniques and exam preparation are needed to achieve those goals.
I understand that a persons’ circumstances as to what has lead them to study English as a foreign or second language can be unique and complex. As such, I work with aspects of life that are important in developing the whole person as well as addressing how their English Language requirements fit into what they would like to do and for whatever reason.
As a result, I am able to offer support in areas that affects individuals’ life such as immigration and asylum law and social work law for asylum, refugees and immigrants. This compliments the academic aspect of my role, and as a teacher and assessment specialist as I can work at a pace that is comfortable to the client using study plans, work tasks and exercises that increase confidence and ability, and routinely assess English language skills such as reading writing, speaking and listening as they improve or to the required level to ensure the best possible success.
