I have a masters from Kings College London in Law, and an LLB. I’m also just finishing my Legal Practice Course (LPC). I was very active on my LPC, answering lots of questions each session and showing my awareness for what was going on commercially. I’m currently about to qualify as a solicitor. I have a zeal for learning and passing on what I have learned to others. I have been told that I can explain difficult concepts to people in a way that is easily understandable, as such, when I was at University, I would be asked by fellow coursemates if I could teach them what I had learned, and they would go for exams and excel, where they otherwise found it difficult to understand that particular subject/module.
I was in the sciences in high school, hence I have a vast amount of knowledge there also, and for my A-levels I did a wide range of subjects including sociology and psychology.
Preparing for small group sessions on the Legal Practice Course and delivering that knowledge
Tutoring Law Undergraduates with success
Tutoring University Law students
Teaching at Sunday School, pre-school - age 16.
Offering organised tutoring programs for fellow coursemates while studying.
My approach is a hands on one. I am happy to help with absolutely anything the student finds difficult, be it drafting, how to go about reading, or how to help make exams easier etc. Absolutely any way I can help the student.
I believe I have a vast level of knowledge and experience that some students can make good use of.
I prefer online tutoring via email as I give my best to the student when I can write to them rather than speak. I am a very descriptive person and write really well and and explain my thought process really well in writing. Also, because it's all in writing, the student can have a trail of communication say via track changes, emails and can go back to such written communication when/if he/she feels stuck. I have had a student return three times via this method, so it has been quite successful for me and my student(s). It is a method where I can give my absolute best to my students.
