I am a native speaker of French and this is my 7th year in the teaching profession.
I grew up in France and moved to the UK at the age of 22 to complete a PGCE course to teach French as a foreign language.

I am an experienced teacher and a native speaker of French. I have worked both in secondary and primary schools and I am currently working in a preparatory school.
I can prepare students for their exams, improve their fluency or teach French from the beginning.
I hold a master in linguistics and this passion for grammar enables me to explain grammar points in depth and to compare it with English grammar to clarify any misunderstandings, underlining the similarities or the differences between the two languages.
I am able to provide a wide range of educational resources to facilitate students' learning.
I pay attention to pronunciation which is key when learning French, providing my pupils with phonics table to get them familiar with pronunciation rules.
I am very patient when it comes to explaining how the language works and I like to ensure that my students feel comfortable asking questions and that they feel at ease when speaking, gently coaching them with pronunciation tips.
I provide worksheets tailored to the students' needs, on various topics and various grammatical points.
I can personalise exercises and tasks to develop students' progress and help them practise what they need to improve.
I have various speaking games to increase their confidence and fluency.
I can help revise for GCSE exams, looking at mock exams together.
