I am driven and enthusiastic student of law. I am currently pursuing an LLB in Laws at the London School of Economics. I will likely remain in academia, to pursue a Master's in Philosophy and likely a PHD in legal theory.
I have achieved 4A* and 2A at A-Levels in various humanities subjects. This means I am very prepared to juggle with many topics at once, or focus on specific areas of the topic at hand.
I have previously tutored privately for the CAE (my students have achieved a minimum of C1) and IELTS. I have also taught classes at my sixth form (The Royal School of Wolverhampton) on Politics, Religious Studies, and History.
I am currently sitting on the Editorial Board for the LSE Law Review where I am a Notes Editor. I have had one of my shorter pieces published on the blog (on David Hume and Parliamentary Sovereignty).
My teaching approach depends on the type of student that I am tutoring. Generally, I like to take a holistic approach, and start from general questions and topics, and move closer to the debates and critical points in the subject that we are focusing on. I prefer a discussion based approach, through which the student and I are constantly challenging each other with questions and queries relating to the topic. I always begin with the basics - the facts, the relevant theories, the parties involved - and then move on to wider questions, depending on the topic being taught.
