Mariyam

I graduated with a BSc honours degree in Psychology with Criminology. 

I am a teacher of humanities with over 10 years teaching experience ranging from primary to post 16. I have worked in various establishments with a range of abilities including SEN.  

I am a specialist in Psychology and Sociology A-level tuition, revision and exam preparation/technique. I have taught A-level and GCSE for over 10 years and have marked exams papers for various examining boards.

Tutoring Experience

My degree specialism is Psychology and Sociology but I have vast experience in other humanities subjects such as history and geography.

I have worked with various exam boards and I have marked for AQA and OCR.

I am currently working for an online home-schooling company teaching geography to KS2, KS3 and KS4 pupils. I have gained a vast amount of experience students both one to one and in a group environment.

Tutoring Approach

I provide tutees with clear, concise class notes and revision materials aimed at ensuring that they understand how to address exam questions and how to structure essays. I can provide tutees with a huge bank of past paper questions and model answers with examiner feedback to accompany these questions.

Homework essay questions will be provided to tutees and marked as it would be by official examiners in live exams, thus addressing strengths and weaknesses.
