Mark is the best tutor we could have hoped for. We were lucky he agreed to work with my son. Diligent, meticulous in his approach and also very understanding and a joy to work with. Under his professional guidance my son has raised his grades from 6 to 8 in the mock exams. Today he got one of the highest grade 9 in the UK. We were told by his school headmaster that only 0,5% of UK GCSE students have been able to score those points. None of this would have been possible without Mark. He was not only a tutor but a great mentor for my son, helping build the confidence that he needed to pass his exams. We are now off to one of the most coveted 6th Forms in London.

I could not recommend Mark more, you can only hope he is available to help your child.

Mark has been instrumental in tutoring our daughter during the last 2 years of her GCSE's. Our daughter was homeschooled due to some health challenges and was behind on the GCSE English syllabus. Mark kindly offered to help our daughter by coming to the house to teach both English Literature and English Language for 3 hours per week. Mark's knowledge of both syllabuses was impeccable due to his depth of knowledge and teaching experience. Mark created a detailed and meticulous learning plan **E-mail Address Removed**classrooms. Our daughter engaged with learning **E-mail Address Removed**classrooms very well. Mark also has a wealth of knowledge and understanding of dyslexia which also really helped our daughter. Our daughter really appreciated Mark's teaching style and kindness. To be honest, I don't know what we would have done without Mark and the tutoring that he provided to help our daughter through her GCSEs. I would highly recommend!

Mark has been an amazing tutor for my year 11 son, studying English Literature and English Language in preparation for his GCSE exams. Mark’s sessions have been carefully tailored to cover the areas that my son has found most challenging, adapting each according to need. I had Mark as a tutor for roughly 4 months online, in which he essentially taught me the whole Edexcel drama a level theory content and took me from feeling absolutely terrified for my exam, to calm and prepared. He is an extremely fast and responsive teacher, and and marked all my essays (of which there were many!) extremely fast, with super effective feedback followed up by in-lesson discussion. He is extremely encouraging and has a very engaging style of teaching. I really enjoyed all of Mark’s lessons and would thoroughly recommend him as a teacher. Thanks so much!

We asked Mark to help my son with his English GCSE after he was disappointed with his mock grade. He engaged well with my son who enjoyed studying English for the first time! After the exams were cancelled Mark helped him not to lose focus on his academic work and to think about the future eg suggesting online courses. This has been hugely helpful. Thank you Mark

Mark is a very reliable,experienced teacher. He is quite capable regarding the teaching he provides. We are very satisfied.

Mark proved to be an excellent tutor for our 17 year old daughter resitting her English Language GCSE. He was able to engage her from the start, so they hit it off immediately and built a great relationship such that she looked forward to her lessons with him. Mark was knowledgeable, punctual and good-humoured throughout and I would highly recommend him. Our daughter is at boarding school, so initially he used an online tutoring tool to get to know her and ascertain her level of skill in the subject. Subsequently they had face to face sessions in which they covered past papers, he gave her homework, which he critiqued and they discussed. Mark also gave her tips for exam technique and managing exam nerves. Thus he built both her competence in the subject and her confidence. She is currently resitting and we are hopeful for a much improved grade.
