I tutor Maths, Chemistry and Physics up to A level / first year engineering degree, from age 7 upwards.
As a full-time professional tutor with over 30 years teaching/tutoring experience I can teach your child to get the best test results and exam grades as well as imparting the longer-term benefits of improved skills, knowledge and confidence.
I have perfected my remote ( Zoom, Bramble or Teams, for example) tutoring skills in order to make the lessons extremely effective, in some respects even better than in-person tuition.
I have taught continuously in both state and private sectors since 1986, examples being Horsell High School Woking, Wavell school North camp, Sandhurst School, Seaford College in Petworth, and in 2023 I spent two terms lecturing at Farnborough College of Technology.
I routinely deal with all examination boards at GCSE and GCE 'A' : Edexcel, AQA, WJEC and OCR.
In addition, I have gained valuable experience tutoring university undergraduate students in a variety of Maths and Physics topics prevalent in various engineering degrees' including Btec level 3 and Open University courses.
Finally, my online tutoring skills are, after 2 years of practice and refinement, second to none,
which means that students get the best service and experience possible.
I love tutoring!
What I do makes a real difference to students' lives in the long-term; no-one wants them to succeed more than I do. Their faith in me to provide the best help and support is not a pressure but a privilege. My students really seem to appreciate my dedication, enthusiasm and love of learning, as they keep coming back again and again as well as recommend me to their friends.
I always keep in mind that tuition represents an increased workload additional to both college/schoolwork and homework. Therefore I aim to make tuition as interesting, interactive and productive as possible- whilst focusing on their objectives- usually a target examination or test grade.
