I am a highly qualified educator with a PhD in Computing from Imperial College London, complemented by an MSc in Advanced Computing (Imperial) and a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Statistics (University of Zagreb). My academic achievements include success in international mathematics competitions, demonstrating both my passion and expertise in the subject.

Beyond my formal qualifications, I've dedicated over a decade to student welfare as the warden of an Imperial's hall of residence, giving me deep insight into students' educational and personal development needs.

Tutoring Experience

With over 25 years of tutoring experience, I have successfully taught Mathematics, Computing, Statistics, and Physics across all levels, from 11+ to university level. My experience spans from helping young students prepare for entrance exams to supervising university-level projects at Imperial College London.

As a hall warden, I've developed a unique understanding of students' learning needs and challenges. This combination of academic expertise and practical experience allows me to adapt my teaching methods to suit each student's individual requirements and learning style.

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring approach combines academic rigour with enthusiasm and encouragement. I believe in building strong foundations while challenging students to reach their full potential. Drawing from my extensive experience, I create personalised learning plans that address each student's specific needs and goals. For example, students with ADHD require shorter, more focused interactions, clear and concise communication.

What makes tutoring especially rewarding for me is witnessing students' progress and helping them overcome challenges. I strive to make learning engaging and relevant, drawing real-world connections to theoretical concepts. My approach has consistently helped students achieve significant improvements in their understanding and academic performance.
