I am a fully qualified (PGCE from University of London), bilingual modern languages teacher, specialising in Spanish, from beginners to A Level and beyond.
I'm quite an animated person and I love teaching, so lessons are lively, while staying firmly on task throughout.
I started off teaching at a comprehensive in London, and then moved back to Bournemouth where I worked at another comprehensive. We moved to the US for a year, where I started tutoring and have continued since, including 8 years in Spain. I mainly tutor GCSE and A Level.
I understand that students are often tired after a day at school and so I aim to keep lessons as upbeat as possible.
That said, I don't paper over cracks. I ensure students have a strong foundation and know what they're doing before progressing. This builds confidence, and as a result, the elusive 'speaking' becomes second nature.
