A very good tutor who explains things well and makes lessons engaging

I'm only a few weeks into my learning journey with Marta. She takes time to see where you're at within your language experience, and is able to assess strengths and weaknesses and gaps in knowledge.

She is well prepared with card games and exercises to push you with making phrases to match the activity. She brings a positive energy to lessons and makes them really enjoyable. Really loving the lessons and looking forward to more

Marta is a punctual, kind and a well organised native spanish speaker. She is very patient as I am a total beginner. She gives me a reasonable amount of homework every week and I would definitely recommend her.

I always look forward to the lessons and always come away from them feeling as though I’ve learnt a huge amount. I really like the way Marta teaches. Because she is a native speaker, she is able to quickly correct my pronunciation and grammar mistakes and explain rules (and any exceptions) with easy ways to remember. She goes back over previously learnt vocabulary and adapts lessons to build on my prior knowledge. She is very patient and encouraging and gives very valuable feedback. She uses games and flash cards which make the lessons fun and engaging and she explains things in very clear ways. She is very easy to talk to, flexible with lesson times and I find her very approachable and friendly. She sets homework and gives recommendations for apps, music and TV shows and films that can be accessed to reinforce learning in between sessions. I always look forward to my next session. I feel as though I’m making great progress very fast having lessons with Marta! I highly recommend her :)

Marta is a native speaker (from Spain) and an excellent Spanish tutor. She is very kind and pleasant, and makes the lessons both fun and challenging (e.g. Playing bingo to learn numbers, using flash cards for activities etc).

She's very good at adjusting the pace of the course to the learner's ability (slowing things down when they're difficult, and speeding through when they're easy).

She's also quite flexible with scheduling lessons, which was a massive help for me, and allowed me to finally start Spanish lessons with my chaotic working hours!

Marta sets relevant homeworks which we go through the next lesson - which help me expand my vocabulary, and aims to get the learner speaking as soon as possible (which is usually what people including myself struggle with the most!).

Very happy that I found Marta on here to help me on my learning Spanish journey. Her lessons are well set out and often involve games to help practice speaking and listening.

Marta was brilliant at communicating with us before we took her on as my daughters tutor. We talked about her experience and methods of teaching which sounded brilliant. This is a 2nd tutor for my daughter as the first was not reliable. Marta has been a great communicator, efficient, reliable and most of all my daughter says she didn’t feel pressured, she is learning loads. She thinks her way of teaching is great, she has fun ways of teaching with games but still doing the necessary vocabulary and grammar. We would highly recommend her.

Marta, listened to what I needed to improve my Spanish and has tailored the classes according. I’ve had 6 lessons so far and feel my confidence and ability to understand and speak has improved greatly in such a short time. I really look forward to the classes. They honestly don’t feel like a class rather a conversation or a chat with a friend who gives you constructive feedback and encouragement. Marta is a superb teacher and I’d recommend her to anyone.

Marta has catered the lessons perfectly for my current level. We spend half of the lesson in conversation which is great practice for consolidating everything I've learned so far. I have only had a few lessons so far but already feel like I am improving massively! Marta uses lots of games to change things up. I could not recommend more highly!

I have been learning with Marta as an adult/casual learner for just over a month now and it has been an excellent experience so far! Marta is a great Spanish tutor who is friendly, engaging and happy to help in any way. I feel a real progression with my Spanish in a relatively short amount of time. Lessons are a good mixture of exercises and activities to learn and test new information and then general talking to improve conversational Spanish in a natural way. Thoroughly recommend this tutor!
