I am an experienced and effective teacher/head of department of Economics and Business and have been an examiner at GCSE and A Level. I aim to help my students build their confidence in the subject, maximizing their potential and helping them develop strong exam technique and a secure grasp of the theoretical content.
I am a qualified teacher of Economics and Business and have more than 20 years experience teaching both subjects to A Level. I have been a Head of Economics and Business Studies at schools in the West Midlands area for many years and have helped many students improve their grades.
My aim is to help you fulfil your potential in your A Levels in Economics and/or Business. My approach to tutoring is to determine the areas where you need support through discussion and to draw up an individually tailored learning programme to support your development in those areas we have identified together. I aim to make you feel at ease and to build your confidence in the subject. I can cover both subject content and examination technique in our one to one sessions and will adjust my teaching style to meet your individual learning needs. After each session, I will provide consolidation material and revision notes to help you with your understanding and improve your exam technique.
