What can I say! Mary is amazing! She tutored my daughter for her French A level and was not only highly professional, kind, empathetic but incredibly calm and patient. My daughter’s confidence grew as did her scores in mocks through Mary’s help. The skills she taught were a tremendous help when it came to my daughter’s actual A level. She approached it with so much confidence which I have no doubt is due to the time and effort put in to her tutoring sessions. I would absolutely not hesitate to reccomend her to anyone looking for a language tutor. So much so we have asked her to tutor our youngest daughter for English!

Mary was fantastic with both our sons, one of whom was going through their SATs. She has a warm and caring manner and we saw the confidence grow in our eldest who was quite reticent with English in primary school.

Mary has been an excellent tutor for my son.

She is very easy to communicate with. Mary has been open to focussing on different areas of need and I like how she provides feedback to update parents after every session.

First of all, she did a proper assessment of Mithul's English knowledge: evaluation of his strengths and weaknesses. It is helping my son in his overall writing, grammar and terminology. He seems to be making far fewer mistakes in his English and is really enjoying the writing experience. He has certainly gained in confidence and that has reflected in his end of year English paper as well. Even though Mithul is in year 7, Mary has started to prepare him for GCSE level English which is highly commendable.

Moreover, she tailors her approach to his abilities and offers all the necessary support for his improvement. Lessons are always productive but are also talkative and fun.
