Hi, I'm Mason! I love my subject and won university awards during my Oxford Physics degree (MPhys). I now teach Maths and Physics A-levels at one of Britain's most successful free schools.

Tutoring Experience

As well as being a full-time teacher at a prestigious Sixth Form, I've also worked with several charities to stretch and challenge bright and ambitious students from all backgrounds, helping them succeed with A level work, admissions assessments, and personal statements.

Tutoring Approach

Maths and Physics are most rewarding when we feel successful. Understanding and manipulating underlying concepts is the most effective way to succeed at A level, but this must come from a concrete procedural understanding.

In my sessions, I help young people work through standard exam-style problems on topics of their choice before questioning asking how the answer and/or method would change as the variables (e.g. distance) are adjusted.
