Tutoring Experience

I teach English as a foreign / second language and Italian as a foreign language to classes of international students at different levels, preparing and creating lesson plans, authentic materials and exercises. I have been holding courses at King's College, International House London, The London School of English and the Italian Cultural Institute of London and also in important banks and companies.
I have also tutored 4 pupils with their Italian GCSEs and A-Levels, obtaining excellent results.

Tutoring Approach

I normally use communicative teaching methods based on the "Affective-Humanistic Approach", but I'm also able to teach in a more traditional way, utilizing programmes and materials given to students by the schools. Should it be needed, I will create specific, authentic materials and I will tailor the lessons to the different students’ needs and levels. I will motivate students not only by using classic educational materials, but also proposing technological, practical and cultural activities based on everyday needs and always student-centered.
