I am a Teacher of Chemistry at Winchester College. Previously, I taught at Sevenoaks School. I graduated with a Master's in Chemistry from Oxford University. I served as an Assistant Housemaster at Winchester College for five years. I am a badminton and tennis coach, and was appointed a Governor earlier this year at The Kings' School, Winchester.

Tutoring Experience

I have 8 years of classroom teaching experience: IGCSE, A-level, and IB. Committed to professional development, I am a Chartered Chemist and Chartered Scientist. I also have Qualified Teacher Status. I have prepared sixth-form students for university degrees in Medicine, Chemistry, and Natural Sciences. The vast majority of my students achieve 9s at IGCSE and A/A*s at A-level.

Tutoring Approach

I am highly attuned to the level of precision and detail required for success at examination and university interview. I am emotionally intelligent, supportive and efficient in teaching students across the ability spectrum. I provide bespoke resources and deliver online tuition using my classroom multimedia. I also have a wealth of past exam and interview questions. I will happily liaise with parents and maintain channels of communication, not least in providing regular feedback.
