I am a current Medicine student at the University of Manchester. It was a few particularly passionate and inspirational teachers showing me how to enjoy maths and science that spurred me to pursue a future in STEM, and I hope to bring some of that same passion to each of my lessons to help my students to enjoy their learning and subsequently maximise their potential.

Tutoring Experience

I have always been interested teaching what I have learnt and started by tutoring students who were in their final year of GCSEs in my own school whilst sitting my A-levels. I also have 3+ years of experience instructing sailing for children as well as adults. Recently I have been tutoring pupils who have found me through word of mouth. I love seeing my pupils meet, and then exceed their own expectations.

Tutoring Approach

I focus on creating an engaging and supportive lessons that caters to the individual needs and learning styles of each student and do this by thoroughly preparing following communication with students, as well as utilising my own observations on the students knowledge and understanding of individual topics. I have found that a lesson with clear goals, yet one which is flexible enough to accommodate slower or faster learning types is always the most efficient.
