Matthew is a Mentor to my kids rather than a tutor. cant expect expect anything better.
When he took over this job, my daughters expectation to was to achieve an average grade of B.
Matthew made him achieve 5A*s in all core subjects (IGCSE) he taught her. My son and my daughter both love him so much and he truly have a massive positive influence on my kids.
Whilst waiting for the result of my sons' IGSCE and my daughters' A level I can highly recommend Matthew. He is a super good.

Excellent tutor and resultantly mentor and friend. Helped me with GCSE’s and got me into the schools I wanted (Winchester college specifically). Extremely intelligent and explained things well, and always showing me how to properly engage my mind. Would strongly recommend if you can afford.

Matthew is simply one of a kind. He s a passionate, emphatic, challenging, professional, creative, smart, brilliant tutor. He clicked with my two teens, using different strategies and he challenged both of them in different and impressive way. He own the art of teaching hence he share the precious gift of communicate and transfer his knowledge. Thank you Matthew for all the amazing work.

Matthew was able to reignite my passion for Chemistry at a time when I was struggling. By the end of the first lesson he had identified my areas of weakness. Ultimately he met more than my expectations. He even forged links across the module that I had not considered before, which was invaluable. Personally, I think that is a gift. I hope that one day I will be able to do something as memorable for another person as he has done for me.

My 6-year-old son Omer loved Matthew. He managed to keep him interested while teaching science and natural history.

Matthew has been the most understanding and considerate tutor imaginable. Our daughter has been trying to get back to school after being very unwell and he has shown great sympathy but also positive encouragement when she has been able to study. He has worked her hard when she has been well enough but has given her easier sessions when necessary.
He has been punctual, with excellent communication and well prepared to the sessions. I am hoping to use him more in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Matthew is full of energy and full of life. It is infectious!

He can explain some very complex science by chopping the material down into much more concise ideas. Entire double page spreads are condensed into an equation and a couple of bullet points.

My daughter tells me that concepts that seemed complicated now seem easy, and that working with Matthew has saved her hours of struggling with revision. And if she's interested in a particular idea, he is fully able to expand beyond the syllabus too!

He is a real genius, and the house brightens up each time with his presence! Viv

Since starting his lessons with Matthew, my son has come out of his shell, his academic studies have turned around and he is so much happier, both in school and in himself.

We have asked Matthew to help out with Maths now too and my son tells me that he makes everything so much simpler. It's obvious that he's a lot more interested and excited by it all now too!

I cannot recommend Matthew highly enough to anyone: he is inspirational.

From experience, I know that good maths and science tutors are not easy to come by in London. We're hoping that Matthew will stay with us for our daughter's exams too.
