I am a passionate and experienced primary school teacher with over a decade of experience in education. I currently teach Year 6 but have had the pleasure of working with students across the full primary age range. My goal is to inspire confidence and a love for learning in every child I teach. Outside the classroom, I enjoy staying active by playing football for a local team, and exploring the outdoors with my fox red Labrador.

Tutoring Experience

With 10 years of teaching experience, I have developed a deep understanding of the primary curriculum and the unique learning needs of children at different stages. I have taught students from Year 1 through to Year 6, providing me with a broad perspective on how to support children’s academic and personal development. Currently, I teach Year 6 and enjoy preparing this age group for the challenges of secondary school.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach is centered on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where children feel encouraged to ask questions and develop their own thinking. I tailor my lessons to suit each child’s individual needs, using a variety of interactive and practical methods to make learning effective.
