Hi, I'm a qualified teacher and dyslexia/study skills tutor with a real love for the role, and have worked with a wide range of students across BTEC, A Level, undergrad and postgrad levels, with a proven track record in helping learners achieve grades far beyond predicted outcomes.
I have13 years experience teaching and tutoring. I have tutored a great many non SEN students, however, I specialise in learners with dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADD and ADHD. For the past 9 years I've worked as a one-to-one dyslexia and study skills tutor with students from a wide range of courses at Liverpool John Moores University.
Prior to this I was a teacher and Course Lead of A-Level Film and Media Studies at a grade 1 Ofsted Approved College, along with supporting academically challenged students in the classroom.
I've also worked in Holland, where I was recruited by an English Centre in Amsterdam to help develop dyslexia support within their language school, tutoring many IB students. Over the past few months my tutoring has moved to Zoom and Skype, and I have extensive online experience both with university students and private clients over a number of years.
I tailor support to meet the needs of each individual student with a friendly, engaging approach. I believe that tutoring should be as enjoyable as possible!
