Hi, I'm Max. I'm a 21 year old Social Anthropology student at the University of Edinburgh. I studied English, French and History at A level, achieving A*s. I am passionate about travel, sports and animals. I have worked for SAVSIM conservation which specialises in the protection of animals at risk of being poached in Kenya.

Tutoring Experience

I am experienced in teaching students in both English and History and have also specialised In help teach those with ADHD. I have been tutoring for 7 years.

Tutoring Approach

I try to keep it light and breezy in order to not make it feel like school, because let's be honest that wouldn't be effective. I try to incorporate the students own interests into the teaching, so they can find a connection which will help them understand the subject more easily. I'm also a big believer in nailing essay technique first and foremost. Personally, after I managed to crack that everything else became a whole lot easier too.
