Maya is helping our daughter (yr 9) get back to a good standard ready for GCSEs, after time in a chaotic school, which she has now left. We're seeing great progress, and returning confidence, with the support of Maya, a kind, caring and highly skilled tutor. Recommended. Highly recommended tutor! Maya is kind, patient and flexible with time. She gave back my son’s confidence in math which he lost during lockdown. A massive leap on his grade compared to his predicted grade.

Our son did well in GCSE maths, and enjoyed the subject greatly. But, by Year 13 he was finding A Level Maths quite tough, particularly statistics. He was determined to do well, especially as he had received a University offer which was conditional on gaining A grades or higher in all three A level subjects, so we were happy to support him by using a maths tutor. Maya quickly developed a good rapport with our son, and his interest and enthusiasm for maths returned with her guidance, patience and supportive approach. He looked forward to their sessions and made sure he always completed any work Maya had suggested to him the previous week.
He found Maya's teaching style very good, and he finally understood statistics and even looked forward to solving problems!
The summer 2019 maths exams were some of the hardest for several years, but our son came out with the Grade A that he needed, something that would have been extremely hard to achieve without Maya's support.

hi , we were just waiting for Maya to arrive for our 5.15pm appointment (17.1.16) when she text me to tell me I was 15 mins late? At know point in our emails/ txt etc was there any mention of me dropping Grace of at her home. Ihope this means I have not waisted £25. could someone please clarify what s going on?
Maya is £5 more expensive than most anyway, and now wants another £5 to attend a home visit,

I am not concerned re. your feed back for many reasons:
One, you have not shared your address via email or the website, so it is a good reason to know your choice!
Second, the feedback is aimed at teaching quality and commitment. I always work to meet professional standards.
And finally,
It is clearly stated on my profile, unless you discuss travel arrangements then tutee will attend my house for tuition. Grace's dad assumption should not be my fault.
Travel cost petrol and parking charges. I explained that I have another tutee after Grace at my house hence the small time gap to fit with the time he requested. So he needed to do some calculations.

I keep my time and dates and never had a problem. I think you need to spend more time reading the details so you won't dissapoint yourself.
In the case of last minute cancellation I would charge full amount for the session and I have not done this as it's a genuine mistake by Shaun. I price my lessons according to the amount of effort I put in as well as the cost of resources I provide.
