Hi! I’m Megan, a passionate and friendly tutor with a strong academic background in Maths and Computing. I achieved straight As across 11 GCSEs — including Maths, English Language & Literature, Combined Sciences, Computer Science, Geography, French, Food Prep & Nutrition, and Further Maths — followed by A grades in A-Level Maths, Physics, and Computer Science. I hold a 2:1 BSc in Computing from the University of Nottingham and have since worked in technical and project-based roles. Now, I’m excited to share my knowledge and help others build confidence in these subjects.

Tutoring Experience

I’ve supported students of various abilities, helping them understand tricky topics, prepare for exams, and improve problem-solving skills. With a solid foundation in both theoretical and applied computing and maths, I’m comfortable teaching at Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A-Level. I’ve also helped students with computing coursework, algorithms, and understanding exam specifications like AQA, OCR, and Edexcel.

I tailor each session to the student’s goals — whether that’s mastering exam technique, catching up on missed content, or stretching into advanced problem-solving. I blend patience with structure, use real-world examples, and encourage active learning to boost both understanding and confidence. My aim is not just to help students pass — but to make sure they really get it.
