I am an experienced and passionate teacher who loves history and getting great results from students. I have experience of working as a history teacher in schools, and I have also worked for the National Trust and English Heritage in some wonderful historical places! I am an avid reader and have excellent English skills. I am currently teaching online only, although am happy to discuss options.

Tutoring Experience

I am an experienced history teacher, having taught GCSE History (Edexcel) at three secondary schools (2014-2019). I have a proven record of students meeting and exceeding their target grade, including students who have reached Grade 9 (2019 GCSE).
I am very adaptable so will be able to Tutor you on other exam boards as well as Edexcel - I have also taught A Level History and Law, and geography Key Stage 3.

Tutoring Approach

History is such a wonderful subject but to get good results you need both knowledge and exam technique. I will work hard with you so that you have the key knowledge and the understanding of what the examiners are looking for to meet your targets!
