Hello and welcome to my tutoring profile! My name is Meghna, and I am a 6th-year medical student at the University of Cambridge. I am interested in paediatrics and surgery. I have a passion for teaching and have been tutoring for over 2 years, helping students of all levels and ages to achieve their academic goals.
Before beginning clinical medicine, I completed a degree in pathology, achieving first class and ranking 12th in my cohort. During this degree I completed a research project in vaccinia virus immunology, contributing to a publication in Nature.
With over 200 hours of tutoring experience, I have developed a teaching style tailored to each student's individual needs and learning style. Whether you need help with a specific topic or want to improve your study skills, I am here to help.
As a medical student, I have a wealth of knowledge in various subjects, including biology, chemistry, and maths. I am also familiar with the medical school application process and can guide and support students interested in pursuing a career in medicine.
In my tutoring sessions, I strive to create a supportive and collaborative learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas. My goal is to help students develop a deep understanding of the subject matter and the skills they need to succeed academically.
In order to ensure that my students are well-prepared for exams and assessments, I often use past paper questions to help them develop a strong understanding of the principles and concepts that are covered in their course. I understand that every student has different goals and preferences when it comes to homework, and I am happy to set homework if desired.
Overall, my tutoring approach is centered around my students and their needs. I am committed to helping my students achieve their academic goals and develop a strong foundation of knowledge that they can build upon in the future.
