Melanie helped my daughter enormously with her GCSE English. She had missed a lot of school due to illness and Melanie was able to build her confidence and help her revise in a very logical and helpful way. She achieved a 7 in English Literature and a 5 in English Language which far exceeded our expectations as she is dyslexic.
I would thoroughly recommend her tutoring.

Melanie is an exceptional tutor who went above and beyond to ensure our daughter succeeded. Her in-depth understanding of the English curriculum and her ability to identify and address teaching weaknesses (and incorrect interpretation of exam structure) were instrumental in helping our daughter achieve an A* from a predicted C/B.

If your child is serious about their studies and willing to put in the effort, Melanie is that one in a million tutor. She has a remarkable ability to connect with students, especially those with additional needs and/or neurodiversity, she can tap into their strengths and adapt learning style to get the best out of her students. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Melanie’s guidance and support were invaluable in helping my daughter take the next step in her law studies.

I have used Melanie for over a year now for both of my children, last year for my eldests son GCSE's year including my youngest son who is now continueing tuition for year 10 Mocks and his GCSE next term. so far so amazing. my son is really learning - he engaged with what Melanie is teaching him- so sad his teacher at school cannot. L is really keen to learn and use all the new English techniques Melanie is showing him. Will keep site posted to progress.

Melanie is very reliable and focussed on helping my son who has gained confidence in essay writing, research skills and exam technique, including handling the calculations and core concepts on his business studies papers. She makes things that seem difficult so much easier and even fun. Overall, in all his subjects, he is now happy and achieving two grades higher than expected.
