I am a designer with a passion in languages, ballet and cooking; I am fluent in three languages included Greek and I am currently looking for opportunities to become a better French speaker.
I have four years experience in teaching languages to children and adults gained in Greece and in Italy.
I have been tutoring and teaching language classes for the past three years online and previously face to face for private institutions and clients.
I teach children by playing games, searching for activities and involving them to start a conversation in the most spontaneous way. For both children and adults I make sure that my lessons includes a grammar topic, some exercises related to it to do together and some more extra to practice alone and a part for speaking the language.
I teach the grammar as well as the everyday speaking by researching information, news or facts about the topic to explain. With children I would even use games which involve the movement of the body in order to facilitate the memorisation. My structure is divided in: - routine(greetings etc... To help you familiarise with the everyday basic Italian speaking)
-introduction of the topic linked to a fact, informations, story, etc... to help you remember it;
-explanation of the daily grammar lesson
-game time(activities to check if I can repeat any information before we end the lesson)
-time for conversation and ending with some homeworks which you can do on your own until the next time we meet).
My lesson is also flexible in order to accomodate your needs.
