A kind, friendly, passionate Spanish teacher with experience in several backgrounds. I am an enthusiastic and motivated graduate, who has a passion for languages.
Currrently working as an ESOL Lecturer and Spanish tutor, teaching adults and teenagers (DBS).

Tutoring Experience

I am a UK accredited Spanish language teacher (QTS) with Bachelor´s degree in Mordern Languages (2015), MA in Education (2018) and TESOL (2017) at Aston University.

I have worked in Spain, Germany and the UK teaching Spanish at different levels. I have been working with young people and adults.

○ ESOL Lecturer - teaching ESOL at Halesowen College - teaching students from E1 to Level 1 (2021- Present)

○ Spanish tutor at Falmouth Exeter Plus- online course with up to 14 students from Beginners, Pre-Intermediate and Intermediate levels. (2020 - Present)

○ ESOL tutor at CELCA - facilitating ESOL lessons to support students passing their IELTS exams (2016- 2017 )
○ Spanish teaching assistant at Fallersleben High School - teaching ELE courses to a group of young learners and providing Spanish support at different levels. (2015-2016)

Tutoring Approach

After our first lesson, I will set up short-term and long-term goals and plans the lessons accordingly.

• Help with university assignments - experience in supporting translation/linguistic students
• Support with ELE exams - tutoring students to prepare the Cervantes official examination
• Teaching Spanish - building up language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing The structure of my lessons are: Warm-up, the intro to the new topic, review the target vocab and grammar points, assessment, integration of the new language.
