My name is Michael and I am an enthusiastic online tutor with a passion for helping students reach their full potential. As an avid golfer, I understand the value of patience, persistence, and focus, which are skills I bring into my tutoring sessions.
Beyond teaching, I have a deep love for travel and exploring new cultures. I believe that exposure to diverse experiences enriches one's understanding of the world, and I enjoy sharing my travel anecdotes and insights with my students.
When I'm not teaching or traveling, you'll often find me cycling or spending time with my family. As a proud father of three young boys, spending quality time with them and my wonderful wife is incredibly important to me. We embrace outdoor activities and appreciate the bonding opportunities they provide.
In addition to my family life, I serve as a trustee at our local church, where I actively support fundraising initiatives. Contributing to my community is something I hold dear, and I find great fulfilment in making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Tutoring Experience

I am a highly experienced and accomplished teacher with over 19 years of successful teaching experience in A Level Chemistry. I have been an Assistant Principal in my last teaching post but have decided to take a break from senior management to spend more time with my family. With a 2:1 Masters degree in Chemistry, PGCE and MEd qualifications, and senior management experience, I have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in education and I am passionate about creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for my students. I have completed designated safeguarding lead training and hold a Level 6 qualification in Careers Leadership and Management, demonstrating my dedication to supporting students in achieving their future career goals. With my extensive experience and qualifications, I am confident in my ability to contribute to the development and success of students at any level.
