My approach to tutoring is based around the common misconceptions students may encounter in Science and I use typical exam questions and past papers that students can relate to. I also help students work on their revision and exam technique as it is essential to be able to apply the learnt knowledge in order to succeed in exams. I offer full assistance to all my students in and out of the set tutoring sessions and am available by phone and e-mail at their convenience.

I use a variety of methods to teach and mentor each student which include; reading and explaining subjects/topics they struggle with, asking questions to analyse whether my lessons are effective and if the student has made progress, probing the student to ensure they can explain the subject/topic/concepts back to me; collating and giving exams questions to complete and correct to ensure the student has a bank of knowlegde ready for the exams.
