I’m a passionate and dedicated Civil and Structural Engineering professional with over seven years of experience teaching engineering subjects to students at various levels. I recently completed my MSc in Civil and Structural Engineering at Teesside University with merit. I enjoy breaking down complex topics into simple, understandable concepts to help students succeed. I’m excited to apply both my academic knowledge and teaching experience in a professional role in the UK. I’m a strong communicator, well-organized, and always eager to learn and collaborate with others.
I have over seven years of experience working as a lecturer and tutor for engineering and polytechnic students in India. During this time, I taught subjects like Mathematics (M1–M4), Fluid Mechanics, Strength of Materials, RCC, and Steel Design to more than 500 students. I designed lesson plans and assessments tailored to different academic levels, which helped improve students’ understanding and performance. I also provided one-on-one support to students who needed extra help, using engaging teaching methods to make complex concepts easier to grasp.
My approach is student-focused and practical. I believe in breaking down complex engineering concepts into simple, clear explanations that anyone can understand. I tailor my lessons to the needs and learning styles of my students, making sure to engage them through examples and real-world applications. I’m patient and encourage questions, as I find this helps build confidence and deeper understanding. Whether teaching in person or online, I use a mix of teaching tools to keep sessions interactive and effective.
