Hi, Im a passionate School Teaching Assistant who loves helping children. I have a record of assisting teachers in the education and development of students. I am experienced in working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary schools, monitoring and assessing children’s learning. I can also support children with a diverse range of needs as I have a history assisting children with a range of support needed with a particular emphasis on children with dyslexia, ADHD, autism and down syndrome. Have the organisational skills assist with the planning and preparation of successful sessions. I have a good knowledge of primary school policies and procedures, including welfare safety standards, as well as a creative attitude towards teaching and the self-awareness to lead by example in showing children how to be socially responsible and encourage children to learn through motivation and positive behaviour reinforcement.

I've been on a residential trip with the school and children in which I was responsible for ensuring that the children have a safe, fun, active and inspirational experience.
I’ve been involved in organising the year 6 play, by making props, helping out with the music and making sure the children enjoy themselves and express themselves.
Red hill Field invited me in to be a guest speaker and talk about my religion with the children where I spent the entire afternoon engaging the children about Islam as well as giving them a treat of what we eat.
Lunchtime supervision- making sure health and safeguarding is implemented as well as the behaviour policy.

My approach to teaching is a combination of strategies catered to the child's needs whilst also establishing a positive and engaging environment.
