Hey there! I’m Mollie Removed — a bilingual Mandarin–English speaker and a passionate educator with a strong academic background in Marketing, Economics, and Business. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Lancaster University and am currently completing a Master's in Strategic Marketing and Consulting at the University of Birmingham. With years of experience in business research, market analysis, and stakeholder communication, I bring real-world insights into every lesson I teach.
Whether you're preparing for A-Level Business or Economics exams, or you’re just beginning your Mandarin learning journey, I tailor every session to suit your learning style, pace, and goals.
I started teaching during my time at Lancaster University, where I often helped classmates with business, marketing, and economics. Many of them found some of the concepts challenging at first, so I enjoyed breaking things down into simpler explanations and helping them feel more confident. Whether it was understanding supply and demand, writing essays, or preparing for exams, I learned how important it is to be patient, clear, and supportive.
At the University of Birmingham, I continued offering help to students — especially those who were new to the UK education system. I supported them with writing, research, and time management, and found that using real-world examples made even difficult topics feel more relatable and easier to understand. Because I’ve also worked on projects with companies like Sony and Beiersdorf, I try to bring practical insights into my lessons to show how theory connects to real life.
As a native Mandarin speaker, I’ve also enjoyed helping others learn Chinese. I’ve supported friends and peers with pronunciation, tone practice, everyday vocabulary, and conversational skills. I believe in starting with the basics, going at your pace, and building up confidence through regular speaking and listening practice.
In all my teaching, I try to make learning feel friendly and comfortable. I know how important it is to feel supported when something is new or difficult, so I always create a relaxed environment where students feel safe to ask questions and grow step by step. My goal is to make sure every learner feels understood, encouraged, and ready to improve.
My teaching style is calm, supportive, and tailored to each student. I believe learning works best when it feels clear, practical, and encouraging. Whether you're studying for A-Level exams or just starting to learn Mandarin, I’ll always adapt my lessons to suit your pace, goals, and learning style. I use real-world examples, simple explanations, and regular practice to build your confidence step by step. I also believe in creating a relaxed and positive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing from them. My goal is to help you feel capable, motivated, and proud of your progress — no matter where you're starting from.
