Murielle is a fantastic French tutor.
My daughter was struggling to keep up with the A-Level syllabus and lacked confidence in her abilities.
Murielle has helped with her grammar and translation skills in addition to preparing her for the oral examinations.
Murielle is friendly and approachable with excellent communication and feedback. Murielle emails high quality worksheets in advance of tutor sessions so that my daughter can be well prepared. She also sets weekly assignments, which are marked and the results feedback to my daughter. My daughter’s grades are improving.
I would highly recommend Murielle as a French tutor and am really grateful for her help and support.

My son has been studying GCSE French as he only had a very basic understanding before he started and the pace at school was too quick and concentrated in just one year. I have been delighted with Murielle's dedicated and professional approach, targeted questioning and patience. In a 1to1 setting my son feels he can comfortably ask questions, recap knowledge gaps in learning and approach Murielle if he has not understood something at school. Murielle meticulously plans her lessons, but always provide time for my son to go over misconceptions and provide worksheets for homework, tenses and verbs, further questioning to ensure he can achieve the best possible outcome. I would happily recommend to anyone.

I am delighted to write a review for Murielle. We couldn't be happier with the incredible results our son achieved in his GCSEs, and we attribute a significant portion of his success to Murielle's outstanding teaching skills.

From the very beginning, Murielle demonstrated a deep passion for teaching and a genuine commitment to helping our son excel in French. Her teaching style was engaging, patient, and tailored to our son's individual needs. She had a remarkable ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner, making learning enjoyable and effective.

Murielle is a very professional hardworking tutor which I sincerely recommend for anyone who is looking for a French Tutor. My daughter did so well in French in her GCSEs this year. She was working at grade 5 at school. She first started online tuition in January this year and within 5 months upto her GCSEs she achieved Grade 8. Murielle assessed her in her first session and was able to know where my daughter stood. Murielle gave her a personalised tailored tuition which helped her in areas where she was struggling. She has personalised work sheets which helped my daughter to organise and see where she was struggling. Within a few sessions, my daughter was progressing very well and getting confidence in French. She gained confidence in everything- Speaking, Writing, Listening and Reading. In Writing she had very low grade 3 in December before she joined, and now she achieved Grade 9 in Writing in a matter of 5 months!
She was happy to have Murielle and was very relaxed learning with her because of her positive attitude, friendly caring personality, kind words, praising her, and imbibing in her the ‘can do’ attitude. My daughter was so happy with her and cooperated well with her and did her work as told willingly.
Earlier, after her mocks she assessed how she did and told her how good it was and told her where she could improve specially in her writing. It really boosted her confidence and we were happy that it came from her as a French Examiner.
We are so happy that we found Murielle among an ocean of tutors. It was the best choice we did. She has all the qualities of a teacher Examiner . Being an Examiner, she knows exactly what is required from students and she works towards it to help students achieve the topmost grade.
Murielle is also flexible and accommodating when required which was very helpful when my daughter had some things which overlapped.
I truly recommend Murielle because of her dedication and hard work and all her efforts and the rest will be assured for you.

Murielle is always well-prepared and reliable. She makes lessons interesting. She is helpful and supportive and easy to communicate with. My son improved his writing skill and vocabulary, has more confidence in speaking French now. He really enjoys lessons with Murielle. I would recommend her to anyone.

Murielle has been tutoring my son for 4 months to support him with his GCSE French course. During this time, his confidence and ability to speak and write has improved significantly. Murielle is professional, reliable, and very experienced. Murielle plans and develops teaching materials to suit the individual student. My daughter has gained confidence in her French A level with support from Murielle.

Murielle has been absolutely fantastic for my son who was having terrible trouble preparing for his GCSE.

Murielle has tailor made lessons plans for my son and each lesson is planned precisely so really benefits from these lessons. She is patient and very thorough and I am totally confident that he will now do very well in his French.
In addition he is now enjoying French , which is probably the biggest break through.

I cannot recommend Murielle enough, she is brilliant.

I am very happy with the lesson with Murielle!She is a very hard working person as a teacher. We love the way how prepared she is by sending the worksheet for the next lesson which makes it easier for us parents to see too! It hasn’t been very long since we have started the lessons with her but what we have seen to begin with is a very good start too.

I am delighted with the progress my daughter is making in Spanish, she has gone from struggling at best to now being confident, all in the space of a few months. This is due to Murielle’s great teaching which doesn’t stop at the lesson but continues with follow on learning. It’s been great to see see my daughter more positive!

Murielle is absolutely fabulous! My daughter missed most of year 10 and was so far behind. She had lost her confidence and was uncomfortable trying to speak in french. Not any more! She babbles french at me and is absolutely buzzing after her French lessons. Murielle plans the lessons thoroughly and provides materials for her classes. She tests that the learning is absorbed and works at my daughters pace. Murielle was an absolute gold star find! I have every confidence that Elizabeth will do much much better in her GCSE’s than she would without Murielle. My daughter is now keen to do French A’level when she gets to yr 12!

Murielle has been teaching my son, who is in his GCSE year, for the last few months. In that time there has been a considerable increase in his language skills and he is approaching his exams with increased confidence. Murielle is very professional and highly organised tutor and I have no hesitation in recommending her for students of all ages and abilities. We are lucky to have found her.

Excellent, friendly tutor who has a very thorough knowledge of the A level French curriculum. She is currently helping my son with his French speaking, building his language skills, fluency and confidence as well as helping him to understand the exam requirements.She has access to great resources, is always prompt to respond, very professional and a pleasure to deal with. Murielle is an incredible teacher. One of the best and most committed language teachers I have ever come across. She has been a huge help to my daughter. She tailored the lessons to suit my daughter’s specific needs. Lessons were very well structured and the significant amount of work that Murielle put into preparing the lessons meant my daughter always benefitted hugely from them. Handouts were very helpful and homework well set. Murielle was always extremely encouraging, committed, positive and constructive.

Murielle is professional, knowledgable, reliable and organised. In a very short period of time my son has already made big improvements on his GCSE predicted grade, and I could not be more pleased that we have found her to prepare my son for GCSEs.

Murielle is great, we have had 6 or 7 Spanish lessons so far and have learnt a lot, shes very easy to work with and get along with!

I'm really enjoying my sessions with Murielle who has responded to my learning needs (to improve my use of verb tenses) with a variety of exercises, all based around speaking. I might now be starting to use the correct verb forms in speech and am very pleased with this improvement.

Good pace and Murielle kindly researched south American Spanish for me as I am going to Chile. We made a lot of progress in a short time

Murielle is a warm and welcoming tutor. She helped me alot in a very short space of time and gave me the confidence to use the Spanish I knew effectively.
Would definitely recommend and hope to use her again in the future.

Murielle was a fantastic support to me in the run up to my french A level. I enjoyed our lively debates (in french of course!) and there is no doubt that she was instrumental in me achieving higher than my predicted grade in the final exams.

What an amazing lady Murielle is! We have only had a couple of lessons with her but already my 9 year old son has picked up so much. She puts a lot of effort into each lesson and is obviously committed to her students. An absolute pleasure to have as a teacher. We would have absolutely no hesitations in recommending her.

Murielle is a fantastic tutor who makes our lessons enjoyable yet functional. It's early stages so far, but after only a handful of lessons I can feel my confidence growing. Murielle has a great attitude to learning languages and encourages all the time not to cut corners.

Murielle is excellent, after 2 lessons I can say much more than I had expectyed, she makes lessons fun and if a great teacher - first class!

My son has really connected with Murielle and thoroughly enjoys his weekly lessons! In his recent school exams, he had the third highest grade in French in his year, coming only after the 2 native French speaking pupils. Huge credit to Murielle to achieve this with a 15 year old!! And Murielle has been extremely accommodating with rearranging things to fit around his busy schedule. Highly recommended!!

I came to Murielle 6 months ago with virtually no knowledge of the language. My French has come a long way since then and I feel I'm in a much better position to go travelling in France and further build my vocabulary. The sessions are engaging and really enjoyable! Murielle uses all kinds of visual aids and activities to enhance the sessions.

I was delighted to find Murielle. She helped my son with his French oral exam and he too was very impressed with Murielle. She accommodated our needs at short notice and tailored the lessons to his specific requirements. He enjoyed the lessons very much, which is as strong a recommendation as you can get given that he is an 18 year old boy!

I had 1ST lesson and amressed. She has excellent ability of teaching method.

Murielle is a good teacher and enjoyable to work with. She had a particular challenge with teaching us as a couple with one of us with a reasonable basic understanding and the other with zero knowledge of the language. Murielle balanced this well. We have temporarily postponed our lessons due to family business but intend to ask Murielle to begin our lessons again in a few months time. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her as a French tutor.

Murielle is a really good teacher, my son told me that they had a lovely time with each other for a month by now.
For a long time, we wish we can see more and more improv from Sam in his French.
