Musheda

My name is Musheda and I am a BSc (Hons) Chemistry graduate from Queen Mary, University of London. Having trained as a science teacher via the TeachFirst Leadership Development Programme in 2014, I quickly progressed to Director of Faculty, Science. With over 10 years of teaching experience, I can teach students from KS3 science to A-level Chemistry. I am passionate and enthusiastic about imparting my scientific knowledge to help anyone who wants to learn.

Tutoring Experience

I have a PGCE in secondary science. I have taught GCSE science (biology, chemistry and physics) and A-level Chemistry. My students have consistently met or exceeded their target grades, continuing their science education at further or higher education levels.

Tutoring Approach

• Explain concepts in a jargon free manner, and often using anecdotes to help grasp concepts faster
• Apply concepts to various context
• Check understanding throughout explanation
• Focus on exam questions, particularly application based to ensure students can confidently apply their knowledge to various scenarios
• Adjust my teaching style in response to the needs of my students
